That reminds me of when I was a teen in Arizona and we’d have boondockers in the desert. Everybody would bring anything that would burn and we’d pile it up as big as a house and light it up. Of course there was beer and smoke and girls. Yeah. It was fun.

I know some people here like to rag on modern country music but I think it's great. It's the new "pop music" for me as what passes for Top 40 these days is virtually unlistenable with all that angry rap and that soulless "dance" music that all sounds the same.

Love most of what's coming out of Nashville these days.

If you like country music only, you won’t like this. If you like a variety of music, you would like it. Today’s “country” is anything but. It’s more like 70’s rock with a twang if anything.

I’m not one to rag on modern country music because, I admit, I like a lot of it. Not a big fan of Luke Bryan though... I just have to ask myself, will they be playing his stuff on the radio 50 years from now, as they do nowadays with so many of the old timers?

Love The Clash, Adolescents & all older punk rock bands. Those bands are my first loves.
but also like a lot of country bands/singers as well.
My musical tastes are not geared towards one in particular, I just like a great band with lyrics and the talent to accommodate, complement etc..
