You figured correctly. That was a major reason we selected the XDS platform. The grip angle matches that of a 1911 almost perfectly.

Don’t underestimate what is out there, though. If you are a gunowner, and you don’t think you’ve ever been watched in person, if you don’t think there is a file on you, with input from somebody you know about your specific quirks, you don’t know what is out there. And what is out there is an outright parallel society, of unbelievable size, with unbelievable tech, which operates as government agents, embedded in your community, in return for some benefit. You’ve talked to them, you know them, right now, I will bet.
They know what most people have. And by they, I don’t mean the US Government. And if things turned hot, a lot of people will die in car accidents, from CO poisoning, and so on in the weeks and months afterward. Don’t think they will ask for your guns. You will go out to the store, they will make entry to your house, and spike your orange juice, and you will not know it is over until it is too late. These are not amateurs who are going to play out the scenario you see, where we win easily.
Understand they killed a Supreme Court Justice, and controlled the media exposure. That means nearly the entire media is under their thumb, AKA loyal agents of the conspiracy. Law Enforcement did nothing. Which means they had the power to take aggressive guys who volunteered to fight evil, and they made them sit on their hands, helpless.
And they did it with Breitbart, they did it with Michael Hastings, they hacked Sharyl Attkisson’s computer and planted classified materials on it. It is pretty bad. If I told you about my life now, you would not believe me. And I am not alone.
My problem I have, when I see guys take the position you take is, it relaxes people, and makes them feel safe, as if nothing needs to change. Before Trump, we were close to losing it all. Nobody knows. I think those FEMA cattle cars were for us.
And if we do not get rid of the massive, unimaginable surveillance state that Obama and his cronies blew up beyond all measure, we are probably not going to ever be more than eight years away from The Puppetmasters doing it for real, and changing the nation forever.
Please do not try to make people feel safe, until we actually are. There is a lot of work to be done. Trump is doing it, but the real problems are still out there. Until they are addressed, don’t tell people they are going to beat a covert intel operation which they don’t even know exists.
Dude, you have no idea what is out there. If I told you one in 24 Americans was a government informant, and there is a program to assemble firsthand intel on everyone while that machine is idling, would you believe it? They tried to legitimize the program and bring it into the open under the Rubric of Operation TIPS, but when it didn’t work, the program stayed. I don’t know your OpSec, but I would assume the chances are 98% you have a file, it has personal details provided by someone you know, and if you have taken measures to hide, they have definitely noticed and taken a very close look.
Your own gun dealer is almost certainly an informant, at least to the ATF (which is actually not that bad), but also probably to the non-governmental network set up under Obama and Bush. I doubt he would have a license if he tried to buck them.
Don’t make people feel safe, like nobody is ever going to clamp the boot down. There is a lot to be done before anybody can make that case.
There are a few through-wall technologies using microwaves and radar, that we know of. It is likely there are things we haven’t heard of, which could be paired with AI to ferret out specific shapes.
Seriously, anyone who tells you they don’t have the money, the manpower, or the motivation is talking out of their ass. Very few know what is truly out there. It is horrifying. Every time I see my kind on these sites, thinking there is no way anybody could know what they have, and the government doesn’t have a master list of gun owners and their toys, because the law says so, I cringe.
We just had fucking Obama. He and Hillary sold off 20% of our Uranium supply, in return for hundreds of millions of dollars, and sent $1.4 billion in cash to Iran on pallets, which reportedly didn’t stop in Iran, but rather was only skimmed for a handling fee before being moved on the Swiss accounts.
There are no laws, there are no rules, and anybody who thinks there are has no idea.

I think you are greatly exaggerating the number of people involved.
There simply are not that many competent people in the country. The government has to keep the numbers small enough to be controllable.
It does not mean the threat does not exist; it means it is different.
Yes there is high tech stuff most people do not know about. Quantities are very small numbers. Overwhelming for an individual or small group. Simply not available for a whole nation wide confiscation system to do in a month.
When you tell people the "enemy" is numerous, powerful, and virtually invulnerable, you dispirit them into doing nothing.
What you posit would take millions of people who are in the top .1% of competence levels.
Computer files on most gun owners... probably in some form for the NSA data collectors.
But with 100 million gun owners in the U.S., the personnel to access those files and act on them can only handle a tiny percentage of that.
But only a tiny percentage of the 100 million are the ones who are the opinion makers, movers and shakers.
TIPS was one in 24 people, and it was supposed to be the pilot program. It was going to build from there. It was published in Citizencorp, funded and set to happen.
That’s millions of people, living in a parallel society where the belief is the Constitution is optional, or even an obstacle, and the rest of society is an enemy who needs to be kept in the dark of pushed down and controlled more aggressively. And like it or not, for eight years they were supporting Obama’s initiatives. I know because I am sideways with them still because of it.
I firmly believe you cannot have a free society unless the citizenry can overthrow the government. If that level of control comes down, if you have 5% of the populace allowed to do anything to get on top of the rest, fully and completely, and worse if the rest have no idea as they are being set up upon, sooner or later you will have an Obama or a Hillary who decides to make the switch from the illusion of freedom, to removing all doubt.
As for the tech, I am meaningless in the bigger picture, and I have it. It is a lot more prolific than you think.
I am not dispiriting people. I am just pointing out if people sit on their asses thinking they have it in hand, they do not. That needs to come out and be undone. Once that happens, then you have it in hand.
I believe Trump is coming up with something, based on information I believe was genuine. Be ready to support him.
No training in undercover operations.
No training in covert entry.
No training in operation of the type of tech you suggest.
As for people who believe the Constitution is optional, that is about the entire Democrat Party and a considerable chunk of Republicans.

Trained informants, at a density which exceeded that of the STASI, preferentially recruited from people who could enter denied areas without a warrant like plumbers, electricians, HVAC, etc, carry and use covert video and audio equipment, and conduct full fledged spy operations that would be illegal for the government to run. As well as a load of others who would have access to denied intel like medical and financial records.
Of course real ops would be scant, so while the thing was idling, it is building files on everyone else the informants know. I guarantee, you have a file, and there are people who would recognize you in the store or on the street.
And that program was merely a vehicle to bring into full legality something which was there from long before, but operating far beyond the hairy edge. To be clear, the real thing is about much more than spying on the civilian populace. It is what controls hiring in the media, it has agents throughout government, in the medical field, very scary stuff.
If you don’t understand this is out there, you have no idea how a Civil War would go. And you have no - *NO* - idea how bad things were about to get if Trump had not won.

This is about where you live. Here it would take at least six months because I live in redneck rural forest filled with hunters and gun enthusiasts.
Not aware of any law in Washington State that would forbid shipping those parts to my home (except the lower receiver for an AR-15, etc.)
