“Detention facilities are not Concentration Camps! America has never been stronger than it is now – rebuilt Military, highest Stock Market EVER, lowest unemployment and more people working than ever before. Keep America Great!” the President finished.
During a press conference, Representatives Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley and Rashida Tlaib announced that “it is time for us to impeach this president” for “openly violating” his constitutional oath.
“The eyes of history [are] watching us” in this “pivotal moment,” Omar said on Monday.
“This is a president who has said ‘grab women by the pu—y,’” Omar said. “This is a president who has called black athletes ‘sons of bit—es.’ This is a president who has called people who come from black and brown countries ‘sh—holes.’ ... To distract from that, he’s launching a blatantly racist attack on four duly elected members of the United States House of Representatives, all of whom are women of color. This is the agenda of white nationalists.”
This whole fiasco started when the President targeted several House Democrats.
“So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run,” the President started in a Twitter thread.
“Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came,” he continued. “Then come back and show us how it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!”
The President was immediately accused of being racist from the media along with the Democratic base. Almost every Democratic Presidential candidate responded to the tweet, accusing the President of being racist.
President Trump has made it clear that he is not backing down. On Monday, President Trump doubled down on his comments.
“So sad to see the Democrats sticking up for people who speak so badly of our Country and who, in addition, hate Israel with a true and unbridled passion.” he started. “Whenever confronted, they call their adversaries, including Nancy Pelosi, “RACIST.” Their disgusting language and the many terrible things they say about the United States must not be allowed to go unchallenged. If the Democrat Party wants to continue to condone such disgraceful behavior, then we look even more forward to seeing you at the ballot box in 2020!”
