I disagree with what he did, and said so. I explained that upbraiding a 70 something for not wanting to open himself up to the violence of the left doesn't help. Did you disapprove of Jews who hid during the holocaust too?

Vaquero himself said that in his 20's and 30's he took more risks. He himself is admitting he is not as courageous now as he has more to protect. Vaquero assumed that Erik is able to do what he does because he was perceived to have less to protect. I think Erik took umbrage to that, as he obviously does have a lot to protect and is getting calls to his work.
Not admitting when someone does something you're not willing to do, is not just different -- you're deluding yourself at least on that specific point, on that specific action.
We're not just different, on this specific point. Erik is more courageous on this point. On this point, Erik is the better man. And I'm fine with admitting that, on this point, and don't have to be a p***y about it.
