A Tempe, Arizona Starbucks is in the news for asking a group of five Police Officers on the 4th of July to move out of the sight of a customer or leave because it made that customer feel unsafe to see them.
No, really this happened. Starbucks Corporate Office is still gathering information on the incident. Well, Starbucks needs to apologize to these Officers and make amends for what happened. Maybe they need to close their stores for an afternoon and train all employees how to respect Police Officers! Yes, thats what they need to do. . . .

Tempe is a university town, there are many, many independent coffee houses, McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, Dutch Brothers. I hope all these places publicly welcome all Tempe police
I hope the rank and file Tempe Police quietly boycott all the Tempe Starbucks and the movement spreads.
Ive lived in Tempe since 1959. ASU used to be considered a conservative university, no significant Vietnam War protests, etc. Now it totally s*cks, is very leftist and is literally the largest university in the US. Im ashamed of my alma mater.

Star*ucks doesn’t want our business, dontyaknow
These cops must be paid too well if they can afford to buy that overpriced asphalt remover.

If I were one of the Police Officers, I would say call 9-11. In reality,we live in a society where I would never go out to eat in any uniform or conservative political hat or shirt. They will spit in food and give a hard time. I weep for this nation.
If I was an officer, I wouldn’t want to go to any place that has shown hostility to the police. They would probably mess with the coffee.
Someone else might have already mentioned this, but Dutch Bros. Coffee supports police, they raised funds for fallen Sacramento Police Office Tara O'Sullivan.
Their coffee is good. Check Dutch Bros. out.
I think this country needs to see a photo of the customer who complained and, also, of the Starbuck’s employee who asked the policemen to leave. In addition, how would you feel if you were a cop the next time Starbuck’s needs your help? This corporate fascism needs to stop.
agree-fire the coffee jerk who said this
Yep - I think the proper response should have been, “Refund our money and we’ll be on our way....and pray that no bad guys ever show up because 911 won’t work for you.”
You can bet your prayer rug that starbux will not close all stores for retraining. They will not fire the barista. They will not offer free coffee to all cops.
Because it’s run by America-hating leftists who hate cops too.
I hope that the people who starbux invited to hang out at their stores pi$$ and p**p on the floor in the “inclusive” bathrooms.
I’m still wondering if the barista lied about there being a customer with a problem and if it was really the barista who had a mad-on for the cops.
Homeless drug users = good
Police = bad
Stupidest coffee shop ever !
