I remember when we were visiting friends who lived in Puerto Vallarta in the early 00’s...ALL produce she bought she washed in a detergent type solution before putting in the fridge! Even fresh items there were suspect.
I refuse to go to Mexico as they plunder my state and country. BUT, each time I go there I come back with a visit to the DR. to halt gut issues...so yet another reason not to enjoy the beauty down there and the thrill of doing things I wouldn’t want God seeing me doing....(sarc!!!)

Correct. I wish President Trump would stop overpromising and blustering. He knows that the "wall" and illegal invasion are the main issues that elected him. I guess his plan is to just keep talking tough and promising to do something between now and the 2020 elections.
There’s no reason to import any fresh vegetables right now in the summer in the US. Period.

Forget trying to convince Pelosi of anything using words or logic. She might think about changing her mind if any/all of her grandchildren were to be victims of illegal aliens’ crimes (and I seriously hope that happens). Even then, I’m not sure that would have an impact.
Her power is what’s important to her, and sacrificing lives of a few kids — even her own — might be OK with her. They’re fine with killing children, why not her own?
He is doing the right thing by not using exec orders. We lost the house, that was on us, not him. Will will take on more losses in 2020? That is up to us. Our willingness to go door to door and ask two questions.. are you better off now than 6 years ago? Do you think the congress who exempted themselves from obamacare and insider trading are the leaders of America?

Generally when Trump tweets about something he’s going to do—it’s a bluff, unfortunately.
Not minimizing the intent of the OP, but raw food is not sterile, but many people are oblivious to the threat posed by poorly-stored food which causes the organisms present on ALL raw food (including e coli) to explode in quantity.
Mixing illegals with produce shipments aside (why am I not surprised), this is just one case of shippers having gotten caught:
