Police enforcing against underage prostitution, which is child molesting for pay, were trapped in a bar set on fire in an attempt to kill them.
The Stonewall riot occured because gay men had been repressed and could not longer stand it right? The driving force was Righteous Outrage that could no longer be contained...?
No, and Stonewall wasn’t technically a bar, it was a Bottle Club; that’s because NYC’s regulations on Bottle Clubs were waaaaay less strict than those for bars; no need for lots of running water, no need for so many exits, etc.
Stonewall was MOBBED UP with the mafia and they had 2 sources of income; selling booze and blackmailing rich closeted customers who were causing problems for the management; repeatedly hitting on guys who weren’t interested, not paying, or not paying on time, fighting, etc.
So the mob would kill two birds with one stone; they would make money off of getting rid of a customer who had been causing them problems.
But this time, someone didn’t just eye-roll and scoff at getting blackmailed, though, and threw a real tizzy —a violent one, which spread and kept going for days.
But the liberal NYC media was on the take with the mob, too, they were mob friendly. So when they wrote up the account, the cops became the bad guys and all these mincing, lisping tizzy-throwers were transformed into dashing idealists.
There was the same type of dishonesty in the reporting about the Wyoming beating death of bisexual Matthew Sheppard.
Matthew Sheppard before media:
Scumming meth dealer who told two other meth dealers that he’d given them AIDS. They envied Sheppard’s meth routes to Chicago and they no longer liked “their friend Matt”. Not thinking ahead much while high, they beat him to death behind a cowboy bar, and they killed him.
Matthew Sheppard after media:
Misunderstood, French-speaking sophisticate unfairly singled out by intolerant hicks, crucified like a tragic Saint on a barbed-wire fence (after his beating he had been leaning against a post which formed part of such a fence, then leaned over onto the ground and died from exposure).
What you see at work in the heroes and heroism of the gay community is an enormous media machine at work.
