North Korea leader receives 'excellent' letter from Trump

SEOUL, South Korea – President Donald Trump sent North Korean leader Kim Jong Un an "excellent" letter, the North's state-run news agency reported Sunday, quoting Kim as saying he would "seriously contemplate it."

The White House declined to confirm that Trump had sent a letter to Kim.

It comes as nuclear talks between the U.S. and North Korea broke down after the failed summit between Kim and Trump in February in Vietnam....

With respect to multiple foreign policy processes, Trump has emphasized that he is “patient; in no hurry,” feels no urgency. This is good. A strong man can afford to be patient, and it has always been considered a virtue. Only the angst-ridden liberals feel obliged to lurch toward some “agreement” —any agreement— no matter how ill-considered.

This Trumpian approach is unique in modern statecraft, and god bless him for it— we all know how sterile and futile the usual state dept drivel has been.

More than any other area except federal judges, I greatly respect and trust the President’s instincts in foreign policy. It seems to me that he has managed to keep the most crazed Neocons away from the “launch” button. Praise God for him.
