The 13th Amendment did not free all slaves in the boundaries of modern-day US. Members of five Native American nations, the Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek, and Seminole Nations (known as the Five Tribes), owned black slaves. Located outside the territorial boundaries of the US in a region known as Indian Territory (modern-day Oklahoma), these sovereign nations were not affected by proclamations or constitutional amendments. Instead, separate treaties had to be made between the US and these Native American nations not only to free slaves, but also to formally end the American Civil War battles and antagonism between American and Native American troops.

Evil bastard British and American Christians ending slavery!
Actually, there were early “blogs” but they were called posts (in the public square) and you had to post the entire thing because posting clickbait would have been lame as hell (still is). Some folks came up with the idea of pop up ads, where someone would jump out from behind the post with an ad that said “Eat at Nathaniel’s” and stick it in front of what you were reading, but people figured out that they could use their rifle butts as popup blockers.
They were metaphorical ponies.
Jean Jacques Rousseau refuses to die.
Did Native Americans have horses or ponies prior to the arrival of Europeans?
Good one!
Espera Oscar de Corti is a perfectly good Native American name. It means “Rides Home in Cadillac”.

Obviously they owned slaves: Many millions (1/10 to 1/5 of each tribe were slaves).
They head only three sources of power before Columbus arrived: dogs, slaves, and women.
And the slaves were probably treated best of the three.

Indeed!
Look. Wars of conquest were and are extremely common in the history of the world. The winner took the women as sex slaves, killed the elderly and some men and took the rest as slaves. As long as there have been warring tribes there has been slavery. Show me a tribe that didn’t have slaves and I’ll show you a tribe that was cut off from all other people.
Muzzies still do it today.
American Indians owned slaves waaaay back, long before any European stumbled shore on the continent. They enslaved each other as a regular thing; one tribe enslaved another, etc. Old news.
And, by the way, black African slaves fared far, far better than any unfortunate — white, black, red, brown, etc. — who was unlucky enough to fall captive to an American Indian.
