President Donald Trumps 2020 campaign manager predicted in an interview with CBS News that the president would win multiple swing states, including at least three he lost in 2016, if the presidential election were held this week.
Brad Parscale, Trumps campaign chief, said the president would win Georgia, Texas, North Carolina, Florida, South Carolina, New Hampshire, New Mexico and Nevada if the election were held this week. All eight are considered to be up for grabs, to varying degrees, in 2020 and the latter three were all won by Democrat Hillary Clinton in 2016. and Trump won Florida by 1.2 percentage points and North Carolina by 3.6 points.
Minnesota, a state Clinton won in 2016 by 1.5 points, is right there at the margin of error, Parscale said. I think thats a state we have to fight for.
The comments came ahead of Trumps rally in Orlando, Florida, on Tuesday and were released in full on Friday, the same day Quinnipiac University released a poll that showed Trump trailing both former Vice President Joe Biden and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in prospective general election matchups.
Biden said earlier this week at the Poor Peoples forum that, If I'm your nominee, winning Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, believe it or not, and I believe we can win Texas and Florida if you look at the polling data now.
Parscale pushed back against that argument, telling Major Garrett of CBS that, I dont think were losing any of those states. The campaign manager has continued to dismiss polling that casts Trump in a negative light, echoing the president, who regularly casts doubt on such data.
Parscale quipped that current methodology is the fakest thing and the biggest joke in politics and pressed that his strategy is more accurate. I actually believe more in digital, the kind of AI technology we use I dont believe in traditional, head-to-head polling, he said.
He also predicted that Trump will win in an electoral landslide, securing more electoral votes than in 2016. I think we win Florida, yeah, Parscale told Garrett. I think we win in an electoral landslide, as of today.
Parscale refused to comment on the Trump campaign firing of three pollsters, after internal polling results leaked to the media showed Trump trailing behind Biden in key battleground states. It just got out of control, he said, dismissing a question about who made the decision to get rid of the pollsters.
I certainly hope so.
But as I keep saying, we need to ignore everything, good news or bad, and just be sure to get out and VOTE.
The Dems havent even started debating yet. Expect surprises and unexpected newbies rising to the forefront. Expect all hands to be on deck with regard to illegal voting schemes and ballot harvesting.
Nothing to be taken for granted. The only polls that matter are the ones on Election Day (and some absentees.)
Yes and VOTE not just for President but local/state elections also...and for a majority in Senate/House.
Victorious republicans gain states in their reelections (Eisenhower, Nixon, Reagan, W. Bush), that is, they gain support.
Victorious democrats lose states in their reelections (Clinton, Obama), that is, they lose support.
So good news for Trump. He’s on his way to a second victory!
And the democrats are on their way to doing what they did in 1972, picking as left-wing a candidate as possible.
There have been historical parallels to 1972 and 1984 of late. The democrats were leaning toward 1984, by choosing the VP from the last administration. But now they’re leaning towards 1972, where they rejected Muskie too early, ending up with McGovern.
Though in either case it doesn’t really matter. 1972 and 1984 were both 49 state landslides! Go Trump!
If you live in a swing district, secure a position as a poll worker or election observer. We need as many loyal, aware eyes on the voting process as possible.
An average person can raise $20,000 to $100,000 which Trump’s team can stretch like it was $200,000 to a million. I raised $40,000 for Fred Thompson and I’m nothing special.
This is Trumps election to win. When Biden blowup who is left? I say Bernie Stalin and rest who want to emulate Bernie. We are not going to have health care for everyone and illegals also. We will not have open borders or reparations. Bust Spygate wide open and its Hail to the Chief.
Gazing at the pathetic field of Democrat hopefuls, I have to agree.
I suspect that 2020 will be a repeat of 1972 with Trump winning everything but Taxachusetts.
Texas is NOT up for grabs, period. Anyone who seriously believes that is either wearing rose-colored glasses (if a Leftist POS) or is among the most pessimistic people on the planet. It simply isn’t going to happen, period.
if you look at the polling data now

So Biden says.......
But lots can and most likely will change
between now and Nov. 3, 2020.
Is Texas now officially considered to be a swing state?
I have family in NH.
In 2016 they had no idea who to support as the Bush Family and supporters were fighting hard there.
This time they are 100% Trump.
I believe every elected member of the state administration is a Republican. Feel free to object by providing examples.

TX is only a swing state to the commie media. Trust me.
Just an anecdote, but I’ve heard people at the Orlando rally the other day admit that they didn’t vote for Pres. Trump in 2016, but definitely will this time around.
“If you live in a swing district, secure a position as a poll worker or election observer.”
This is where the Dems always outperform Repubs. At the 2012 presidential election I was an election official. The Dem poll watchers go so far as to have ID stickers made up to look very similar to the actual officials.
The line was so long and everyone overwhelmed, the precinct elections chief actually let 2 of the Dem poll watchers guide voters to the privacy boots where they would fill out their ballots. That is an absolute no-no ... but they ‘own’ the district.
Yes. I have to vote for Lindsey Lohan Graham. Who knew?
