Roe V. Wade Repeal Just A Heartbeat Bill Way
Flopping Aces ^ | 06-06-19 | Daniel John Sobieski

I have often said that said that if ultrasound pictures of the unborn had been available in 1973, the Roe v. Wade decision would have been quite different. It is hard to talk about “lumps of tissue” and “collections of cells” when one can actually see a leg kicking, a hand reaching, a mouth sucking. Or listening to a heartbeat.

Since then four decades of medical advances have changed the meaning of the word “viable” when applied to the unborn. They should also have changed the meaning of the word “human”. Consider the case of the world’s tiniest baby born recently weighing just over eight ounces, As the Atlanta Journal Constitution recently reported:

The world’s tiniest surviving baby, weighing just 8.6 ounces when she was born in December, went home this month as a healthy 5-pound infant.

The baby, nicknamed Saybie by medical staffers at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital in San Diego, was born there at just over 23 weeks’ gestation. Her mother had developed preeclampsia, and doctors decided to perform an emergency cesarean section, according to hospital officials.

Saybie, separated from her mother’s body. now enjoys the full constitutional protections of personhood. If her mother had not developed her condition, Saybie could have been legally aborted. The question must be answered of when Saybie became a human being. Our humanity and human rights should not be dependent on technology. Pro-abortion advocates are unwilling or unable to define either when life begins or by what mysterious process merely passing through the birth canal bestows humanity and human rights upon us.

This is why Democrats are apoplectic about bills banning abortion when a heartbeat is detected. They fear such bills as attempts to “roll back” Roe V. Wade. But if the Supreme Court ever rules such bans are constitutional, Roe V. Wade is dead, repealed by the establishment of personhood.

Supreme Court Justice Harry Blackmun feared such an eventuality in writing the majority opinion in Roe V. Wade:

"We need not resolve the difficult question of when life begins. When those trained in the respective disciplines of medicine, philosophy, and theology are unable to arrive at any consensus, the judiciary, at this point in the development of man's knowledge, is not in a position to speculate as to the answer."[p160]
Man’s knowledge has developed in the last four decades to the point where life-saving procedures can be performed on the unborn. We are now at the point where that question of when human life can and must be answered as Justice Blackmun feared it would be one day, ending Roe:
The appellee and certain amici argue that the fetus is a “person” within the language and meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment. In support of this, they outline at length and in detail the well-known facts of fetal development. If this suggestion of personhood is established, the appellant’s case, of course, collapses, for the fetus’ right to life would then be guaranteed specifically by the Amendment. The appellant conceded as much on reargument. [p156]
This is why they also oppose requiring that a mother requesting an abortion view an ultrasound of their unborn child which strips away the pro-abortion myth that abortion is of no more consequence than the removal of a mole. Advances in medical technology have shifted the abortion debate in the pro-life direction, and even the liberal media have started to notice.

I don’t believe it will happen. Roberts and Kavanaugh seem to be Growing In Office. Kavanaugh seems to desire to get back in the good graces of the Press and the Establishment. Roberts is too weak in the face of pressure.

What is a amazing is to hear liberals say that it is a difficult, if not excruciating, decision for a woman to procure an abortion.

If it is just a fetus, a clump of cells, or whatnot, then why would it be a heartbreaking, difficult or even excruciating decision for the woman to have an abortion?

Liberals told us they did not want the Bible but wanted science.

All of the science has said that one is not born gay just as the Bible points to,a nd in fact the leading gene scientist and a gay man hismelf for decades and up until now has been saying there is no proof that one is born gay.

And then liberals turn around and say they want to go with what they feel, just as they are doing now by saying that trans people who feel female, when they are actually male, therefore are female, or vice versa.

In vitro pictures, in color and in high resolution, were available in 1973. I distinctly recall a series in Life Magazine from 1972 showing pictures of a baby in the womb.

The Danger of Taking Back Repentance

The Prophet Jeremiah had many moments to speak to a people who had many, many issues ... to put it mildly.

One of these concerns a covenant that Zedekiah and the people had made concerning their Hebrew slaves that they’d been keeping and never letting them go in the proper season as they had been commanded to in Scripture.

But afterwards when they thought that they’d relief from the army of Babylon the leaders took back their former slaves, and took back their show of repentance, and so the Lord sent Jeremiah to them again, saying:

“This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I made a covenant with your ancestors when I brought them out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. I said, ‘Every seventh year each of you must free any fellow Hebrews who have sold themselves to you. After they have served you six years, you must let them go free.’ Your ancestors, however, did not listen to me or pay attention to me. Recently you repented and did what is right in my sight: Each of you proclaimed freedom to your own people. You even made a covenant before me in the house that bears my Name. But now you have turned around and profaned my name; each of you has taken back the male and female slaves you had set free to go where they wished. You have forced them to become your slaves again.

“Therefore this is what the Lord says: You have not obeyed me; you have not proclaimed freedom to your own people. So I now proclaim ‘freedom’ for you, declares the Lord—‘freedom’ to fall by the sword, plague and famine. I will make you abhorrent to all the kingdoms of the earth. Those who have violated my covenant and have not fulfilled the terms of the covenant they made before me, I will treat like the calf they cut in two and then walked between its pieces. The leaders of Judah and Jerusalem, the court officials, the priests and all the people of the land who walked between the pieces of the calf, I will deliver into the hands of their enemies who want to kill them. Their dead bodies will become food for the birds and the wild animals.

“I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah and his officials into the hands of their enemies who want to kill them, to the army of the king of Babylon, which has withdrawn from you. I am going to give the order, declares the Lord, and I will bring them back to this city. They will fight against it, take it and burn it down. And I will lay waste the towns of Judah so no one can live there.”

This is what came to pass.

Make no mistake about it, like Jonah the leaders of the people understood that the Lord is gracious, forgiving ... and their actions show that they understood this principal and also that they abused it.

So why am I bringing this up?

Because our nation too is now playing around with repentance even as the Left for which there is no far Left too extreme for them mobilizes to basically prevent said repentance: abortion.

Can a bloody nation not expect to receive blood in turn from the Lord if their leaders, or at least the evil minded among them who rush to defend the murder of innocents, will not repent but continue in their lust to kill every child they can proverbially lay their hand on, if those leaders prevail?

Jeremiah proclaimed the “freedom” the leaders of Jerusalem had purchased with their treacherous behavior. Not just them but the people that they led too, they suffered as well.

Can some pro-abortion Left Wing judge’s hand be all that separates us from the same?

Repenting must be carried through.

If we, having started, do not press on to end abortion then the Lord may end the U.S.

Since the Democrat Prime Directive has been “Kill the baby” for 46 years now, don’t expect any better of them.

I disagree. Over my life, I’ve known a number of parents who had a child who turned out to be gay. Their other children were definitely not gay, and they were not raised any differently from one another. Some kids are indeed just plain “born gay”. It just happens. It is not a choice for some people. It is their business, and I’ll happily keep my nose out of their business so long as they keep their business out of my nose.

Identical twin studies back up what Hamer said and destroy the notion that one is born gay, and Hamer (and others) have said that environment is crucial.

Secondly, identical twins share identical genes. If one was born gay they would both be born gay and this is far from the case.

Third, even lesbian activists knowing the handwriting has been on the wall for some time now have switched to the argument that it doesn’t matter they aren’t born lesbian, that they have the right to choose to be lesbian.

In the end, heve a home with enough wickedness and/or wicked adults and you will produce wicked kids.
