My brother was a car salesman for many years - an honest one. Sometimes the dealerships would institute a slimy policy; he would refuse and if they insisted just leave and go to another dealership.
What you are seeing is a reason to not buy there because what other crooked practices do they have? Your best bet is to find a salesman you already know from church.

I agree with you 100%
At best they are sloppy on the paperwork, at worst they are knowing committing fraud that YOU will be blamed for (and possibly lose the vehicle because they provided the loan based on info YOU provided (according to the paperwork).
Stay away from them, they are nor reputable, And why get a loan from them? You have a bank you trust. Talk with them and get the loan there.
