These critical-path realities had to be dealt with -- in overlapping order -- against every form of opposition and obstruction the Left could devise:

"But, WHY wait until now?"

Obvious answer: the "Mueller Blockade".

Until the Mueller investigation was ended, any counter-attack action of this type would have constituted de jure "Obstruction of 'Justice'".
