Right on the mark Vaquero,we must be about the same generation
i grew up among the Mexicans, Utes, and navajos, the Mexicans and
whites got along just when they wanted to, the navajos and Utes
never got along.

Each one demanded respect and there was a lot of fighting, but they
would have all joined to gather to defend the right to be what they
were or to defend this nation.

They were real Americans.

To quote the movie my cousin Vinny “what’s a Ute?”

All kidding aside. I watch boxing. My kids watch mixed martial arts. I say,’they fight dirty’ meaning with there feet. When I was a kid you fought another guy in the neighborhood to prove a point not to kill him. Boxing was an honorable means of doing that. I guess it’s come down to if your in a fight these days, it’s to ‘the finish’. So much wrong with today’s society.
