I love the writing. It is almost to make possible even accent of author. It is.
Such classic, *Russian is my first language*.
I love listening to other people's accents and they way they inflect and pronounce English.

I remember the story of Laika from grade school. We were told that the final ration of her dog food was poisoned.
We also heard rumors of aborted launches, with doomed cosmonauts screaming “the world will never know what happened to us!!!”
