You don’t do what? Eat a hamburger while driving? Ever heard of a drive-through? Do you talk to somebody sitting next to you? Everyone drives while they’re distracted. Not being distracted at some level guarantees that’s the driver will be sleepy at some point. Being overly distracted is the danger. Texting while driving is obviously overly distracted. But fiddling with your radio or pulling the CD out of your console It’s not illegal in any state that I know of and I doubt seriously it’s illegal in Vermont.
Well, eating while driving is definitely against the rules in most states. Get caught in an accident with a Big Mac in your lap—better yet, don’t.
Talking on a phone is against the rule in MA and Ct. I don’t live in VT, so I don’t know.
I would imagine doing a video for a blog would entail more mental concentration than a normal phone conversation.
