Bernie has a monstrous Achilles’ heel his temper. Talk to him about his money and his blood pressure goes up 20 points. The guy can’t take the pressure. What a Putz.

He got prickly instantaneously with Martha several times last night. Sadly his fans will only see it as him taking to the Fox blond bimbo.

Brett Baer asked him one question and exposed him for the hypocrite he is.

Not me. I actually made less but paid more. I have so many business expenses and charitable contributions I couldn’t write off.

We made a sizable donation last year to a local university and I was surprised that the only thing it did was put us at a higher chance for an audit. There was no tangible deduction value.

Bernie is so easily rattled. He can’t control himself. Push the right buttons and we carry him off the stage. Stay tuned you might see him have a stroke on stage. The guy claims to be from Vermont is really an upper East Side commie. Hey Bernie how much do you plan to donate for the rebuilding of Notre Dame cathedral now that you’re a 1%? Let me guess Bernie squat.

Same here. The reason the deductions were capped or eliminated was because the IRS needed more money to offset the corporate tax cut from 35% to 21%. So they took it from individuals.

“Almost all of you paid less taxes”

The amount of “extra” money I was allowed to keep from Ryan’s tax bill is nothing I’m excited about, keep your article friend, it does not apply to me.

If he’s in favor of higher taxes, he can pay what he thinks I owe out of his deep pockets.

Maybe he could sell one of his mansions to do it, not that my taxes are that high.

Meanwhile, the Democrat front-runner wants all that money back

I hate the Left's use of the word "back".

Gun buy-back.

Wants that money back.

It was never theirs in the first place.

I do my family’s taxes using TurboTax software. I ran my 2018 “data” using TurboTax’s software for 2018 taxes and came up with the results I used to actually file with the IRS and my state (People’s Democratic Republic of Maryland).

I took the time to also run our 2018 “data” through my 2017 TurboTax software to see what we would have paid had the Trump tax law not passed. Had the Trump tax changes not been made, we would have paid more so OUR TAXES WERE REDUCED. That’s FACT and not conjecture. And it’s a FACT that our taxes went down even though our SALT deduction was “capped” under the new law.

A lot of folks have been confused by the media’s misinformation campaigns. I hope that you have not been confused by that campaign and I REALLY hope you’re not willfully contributing to their efforts.

Here’s another who paid more.
Not as bad as I forecast, but $900 more.

I made $9,000 less last year and paid a good bit more in taxes.

I am on commission only and my company does a W2. I use their company card for business expenses — gas, hotels, entertainment, etc. — which are deducted from my check each month. Paying my gas bill does not cover the cost to use my vehicle.

Since I am W2, I am no longer allowed to write off legitimate expenses my company doesn’t pay. I tithe to my church and make a few other donations. I cannot write that off either because it’s not more than the personal exemption. I lost mileage (30,000 - 40,000 per year), charitable contributions, mortgage interest deductions, and a few others.

I am also forced to pay taxes in a state where I don’t live because I am out of state from my parent company. That state required I use the federal return so I couldn’t claim the expenses there either.

I wish my company would 1099 us but they don’t want to do that. I believe they feel they can control us better the way they do it.

My company which makes millions made out great. I lose.

It was a very poorly thought out tax plan.

The reason the deductions were capped or eliminated was because the IRS the Congress was beholden to the William "Bedsheets" Byrd amendment requiring "revenue neutrality" and therefore "needed" more money to offset the corporate tax cut from 35% to 21%. So they took it from individuals.

Fixed.

They could have cut government spending OR trusted supply side Reagonomics instead.

“It was a very poorly thought out tax plan.”

It worked out exactly as planned.

The upper-middle class pays for everyone else’s cut. At least a portion of it.

The rest is borrowed from China.
