House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she dialed up President Donald Trump recently and requested a meeting to talk about working together on an infrastructure package.
Pelosi tells The Associated Press she believes "the president truly wants to have an infrastructure bill."
She calls it an initiative they "can share."
She said in a Wednesday interview that the two spoke last week and are planning to meet.

Whatever bill eventually surfaces, I expect the Democrats to sneak in language that would prohibit border barrier construction - Trump better read the fine print himself, there's no way he can depend on the congressional Republicans to spot the pitfalls.
Just like a rerun with Reagan. Unfortunately, they have some GOP help with this too. Pelosi and Scummer are two villains for sure but the biggest POS of the whole lot was Ryan. We had both houses and the presidency and he did nothing on this issue. I cannot put in words how much I detest that rat faced POS.
