The Iron Man installments were great. Robert Downey Jr. was brilliant casting; he portrays Tony Stark just about perfectly. Sardonic, sarcastic, witty, quick....

One of the things I liked about Iron Man is that they didn't short change Tony Stark's engineering side and how hard he works to build things. They give a lot of screen time to him just working and figuring things out.

Robert Downy Jr IS Ironman.
I never liked the comic Ironman but RDJ made him come alive.
The entire franchise will die if RDJ moves on to something new.

For me, the Stark snarkiness was far overdone. I think less would have done more in selling the character as believable.

Captain America, the character and the trilogy, were the MCU highlights for me. Whatever his politics, Chris Evans played the role better than I could have imagined.
