Last week, Massachusetts Democrat Neal, one of only three congressional officials authorised to request tax returns, requested Mr. Trump’s personal and business returns in a letter to IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig.
Democrats will “never” see President Donald Trump’s tax returns. That from White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney, as a new front is opened in the confrontation between the administration and Congress.
Mr. Mulvaney accused Democrats of engaging in a “political stunt” and wanting “attention” after the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Rep. Richard Neal, asked the IRS to provide six years of Mr. Trump’s personal tax returns and the returns for some of his businesses.

I’m betting they have them but can’t admit it without implicating Obama, so they’re trying to legitimize their having them. Freezing the records freezes them.
President Trump’s taxes are protected by law. The DemonCRAPs know it. This is just a political stunt. The DemonCRAPs and their Chicken “D” Peckers can all go pound sand.
Chicken “D” Peckers: Those voters, who like the tick tac toe playing chickens, peck their ballots for the “D” to get their reward kernels.
And why do they want to see them in the first place?
To make Donald Trump look bad or unethical or whatever they can cook up in the cauldron.

I agree with you. Hillary had Trump’s tax returns as part of the Russian Investigation.. This is her MO.
I don’t want to see them... keep them private.
Subpoena Rep. Neal’s medical records and Rep. Nadler’s grocery records.
Chances are, Trump himself doesn’t really know the details of his tax returns. He has them done, hoping his accountants are taking all the exemptions allowed by law and then signs them. Our accountant has ours done by students then she goes back looking for ways to to decrease what we owe or what was missed if anything and we sign them off.
You’re right on this lily... I doubt Trump does his own taxes or even pays much attention to their details. That’s what CPA’s are for...
Trump doesn’t check the ratio of sand to concrete when he’s putting up a building either...
Sane people hire ethical CPA’s, then trust them.
