The left is doing this in preparation for the election. They have already begun colluding with the democrat party to suppress the thoughts of normal people.

There is a tactical element to this which I'm leery of discounting. That said, I think there's a much broader strategic effort that is long term.

It's not just about redoing the past presidential election-although I think there's an element of that-but about permanent suppression of dissenting voices.
