The #Trump rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan was packed with people, but the protesters weren't too sure what they were protesting. Some were protesting #fascism, some were on the #YANGGANG, it was a grand old time.

very true on many levels, however, Vietnam and endless wars needed the protest, keep fighting a war half heartedly as our people die so politicians can score..not a good scenario..
GR Libs are mostly hipsters, and guilty-feeling upper middle class people that live in the gentrified parts of town and in the supper affluent city of East Grand Rapids. They are obnoxious, but they keep their craziness to a low-level. We dont have any of that ANTIFA crap here.
That’s why they couldn’t get a real crowd, the vast majority of the surrounding area is as red as you can get culturally.
And it is a credit to us that we can have an event like this and have no fights, riots, or vandalism.

Nixon was not persuaded by any of that. He authorized the 1972 Christmas bombings in and around Hanoi because as he stated, “I have the will, in spades” (to do it). There was no additional enlightenment or wisdom imparted to him by any of that crap. He may have reacted to it but it didn’t give him the will to do it because he already had it...in spades.
