I took out a coyote moving at a dead run at 1760 yards off my south deck a few weeks ago with a 6.5 creed. My 308s won’t do that.

The ballistics don’t lie. I love my 308s. Don’t get me wrong, I just like the right tool for the job. My buddy the other Sunday shot 2 foot steel with a Springfield Saint 16” barrel, 73gr 223. The target is 1085 yards. He had a three times magnifier and an eotech red dot. He got 2 hits out of ten. One can do it, but it’s not the best tool for the job.

I will likely build a 300 PRC this year, and see how far she will go. I’m limited to 2750 yards off my deck, but if I can get that, I’ll be happy.
