I do have one question: Do you mix these powders as a formula in water when taking them? I am used to getting my supplements in tablet form.

I apologize for not getting back to you. I have neglected this thread and I think it's time to get back to it. Herbs can be mixed with water, or a mixture of water and milk, or milk, or sometime aloe juice, or ginger tea. It varies depending on the herb and condition. But you can't go wrong with water. What I do is mix my cups of dry powdered herbs in the morning, and pour very hot water on them and stir up well, and put lids on (keeps out dust/etc). Then when room temperature, I drink them bit by bit during the day. THe very hot water softens them up so they do not feel grainy in the throat. I use small cups; no need to have do glug down quarts of what are usually pretty bad tasting herbs. Honey can be added (when water is still warm but not boiling) as this also helps with assimilation of the herbs into the deeper tissues and honey has medicinal benefits by itself.

No problem at all. Thanks for getting back to me. I have been mixing the herbs with water and will follow your suggestion by mixing with hot water and some honey. I have also been taking Arjuna in tablet form that I found at the Vitamin Shoppe and these I believe have been helping a great deal. Merry Christmas.
