The world’s largest independent commodity trader, Vitol, expects global oil demand to peak after 15 years, essentially putting the ‘peak oil demand’ date somewhere in the mid-2030s like other key players in the oil industry.

“We anticipate that oil demand will continue to grow for the next 15 years, even with a marked increase in the sales of electric vehicles, but that demand growth will begin to be impacted thereafter,” Vitol said in the outlook included in its 2018 trading volumes report.

“...sales of electric vehicles...”

Will crash before 2030, if coal-oil-gas-nuke plants are shut down under the Eco-nutballs’ harebrained plans to “save the world”.

A few years ago I saw a chart showing that the US was using about the same amount of petroleum that it was using 50 years previously.

Several countries (Germany and France for example) have set the date of 2030 as the point where you cannot buy new diesel/gas cars anymore. You will only be able to buy battery or hydrogen-run cars from that point on.

There is speculation that the public will quietly start to shift by 2025. At some point, probably 2030 to 2035, I would make a guess that oil will be reduced to $40 a barrel. It’ll still be sold, but the peak isn’t that far off.

We’re going to finally have peak oil, but not the one the scare mongers always talked about.

If they quit oppressing the third world and help them develop electrical generation capability, the demand for oil and natural gas will continue to grow.

Too many racists pretend its necessary to control the population, when, in fact, we have the ability to let it grow as God intended.

Yep, and as an aside, have you noticed all Billionaires are STILL building mansions on the water? Guess they're not too worried about sea levels...

That’s a good point.
I went on a water taxi tour of Ft Lauderdale last month, they are tearing down old waterfront mansions and building new ones in their place.

Does that mean that future wars will be fought by Tesla designed armored vehicles and airplanes? The muzzies better catch up fast because EVERY war will be against the muzzies in the future all the way up to Armageddon.
