Of course it is rigged! Universities are run by socialists and this is the system they setup.
Just look at politics....give us money or we will regulate you out of existence....give us lots of money and we will regulate your competitors out of business. Meanwhile, we rail against corporate money in politics...for the other guys.
The system is corrupt. Affirmative action is illegal, wrong and unconstitutional. Any law that “permits” it is invalid and not binding.
These people are scamming an unfair system.

I feel lucky. My youngest daughter basically had a full ride at an elite prep school, then went on to a prestigious college. I am not poor, but my divorce helped with financial aid.
The door isn’t completely shut, but it’s pretty close.

When I was a freshman in college I had a friend who made a couple of hundred dollars by taking other people’s SAT tests for them. No middle men, no agencies he was just a smart guy who people knew could do better than them. That was in 1973.
Will we ever see Obamas SAT scores? Or did they get buried at sea with Osama bin Laden? Just maybe someone else took these test for him and Michelle my bell.
This woman is confusing the issue. There’s nothing wrong with hiring people to tutor your children, teach them SAT tricks, show them how to handle an interview, or even put together a resume.
Ghostwriting essays is wrong, just as cheating on a test is wrong. But - maybe this woman doesn’t know - the wealthy aren’t the only ones hiring ghostwriters (or asking other people to write their papers for them).
Do a job search for “writer,” and jobs for ghostwriting college essays will pop up. That is, some students hire ghostwriters to write papers for their classes. But this notion that only the wealthy do it is nonsense.
When I was a underclassman in high school (graduated HS 1973) we had a upperclassman football player going around trying to bribe people to take his SATs & ACTs. He needed score higher then random selection to get an athletic scholarship. I don’t know if he found someone to do it. I do remember when it came time for me to take them I was shocked how poorly policed they were.
It was simple. If you lived in town A take the test when it was given in town B using the name of whoever was paying for the test. My friend actually got better scores on the tests of the people who paid him than he did on his own. Makes sense since he was more used to the test after a few tries.
Still no mention of Lori’s and Felicity’s husbands. Husbands and the students are just as guilty as the wives.
In my little area of WV as I remember the test (or tests!) was given in Charleston WV at Charleston HS on a Saturday. I remember being very annoyed about that. Other then maybe being ratted out by someone that knows you, it wouldn’t have been hard to cheat.
What did he use for ID?
