I open carry with an OWB retention holster when hiking in case I slide down the hill. Even then I usually have a cover garment over it unless I am changing shirts at the rest point.
I open carry for work and when Im not working. I carry to win, not brag.
Gun fights are fast. Usually, first shot wins. While Mr Conceal is still messing with his shirt, Im already on my follow up shot.
Rule 1: Smooth is fast. And there is nothing smooth about lifting your shirt and digging around your gut to draw out a gun I already saw when you came in (its not just printing a person needs to consider).
And in 20 years, no one has tried to ambush me... or other nonsense.
