To people who don’t spend much time around them it is unexpected for some odd reason...
My wife and I were on the Outer Banks in NC, and they had a corral with a bunch of the wild horses they had gathered up and put in there for some reason, and we were near the fence watching them next to a family with little kids, and the horses were vigorously rolling in the dirt and dust like dogs!
Suddenly, one of the stocky horses stopped moving for a second, laying flat on its side with its legs straight out in front of it, and let out a loud, percussive blast of a horse fart, and I thought those kids and their parents were going to die of laughter!
