Vice President Mike Pence said in a wide-ranging speech Friday that President Donald Trump and the United States will continue dialog with North Korea to pressure the country towards denuclearization, after a recent summit between the two countries was cut short due to disagreements in negotiations.
"Last night, Trump returned from a second historic summit with North Korea in Vietnam,'" Pence said at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland, after the US-North Korea summit in Hanoi, Vietnam, broke up earlier than expected without a deal. "The President said it was productive two days and discussions among teams will continue. As President Trump said as he departed, 'Sometimes you have to walk."
Pence continued, saying, "And I can assure you after decades of failure with North Korea, under President Trump's new leadership America will not repeat the mistakes of the past. But for the sake of our security, the sake of the people of the Korean peninsula, President Trump will stand firm until we achieve the complete denuclearization of North Korea."

Think anyone who thought Kim was going to give in and give up all his nukes in the first couple meetings was fooling themselves. Yes it would be nice if it did happen, I was hoping as well. But I would not call the dialogue with the Norks a failure.
Plus I don’t think Kim is 100% leader of North Korea, I don’t know of any dictator who needs approval from their own government agencies to do anything. That seems odd to me. But that is just my opinion.
oh to be a fly on the wall when the Trump Team placed photos of all of NKs nuclear and wmd facilities on the table in front of Kim. NO, Kim, giving up one is NOT enough. Try again.
