Good points. I do have a good friend who is a flat earther. He is very serious about it and has done his own active “research.” He asked me if I could get him a laser rangefinder that could range out to 8 miles (I could have but didn’t) and he could prove the earth is flat. Now THAT’S a conspiracy theory!

I know a flat-Earther. I don’t know if he just wanted to see how far down the rabbit hole you’d follow him. I pretty much gave up not long after that. For a host of reasons, not just that.

I'm not a flat-earther, but let's just say tomorrow somebody
proves it's flat. Then what? Who cares? Seriously, what would change? I'm thinking the world would utter a collective "...Meh, who knew?" and proceed with life as it has since the (flat/round/rhombicdodecahedron)Earth began.
...just some random thoughts after a Knob Hill on ice...
