When CWII goes hot, where will the shooting begin and under what circumstances? Not being snarky, I’m like millions of patriots either armed or prepped, wondering how all our resources, weapons, & skills will be put to use in the cause of Liberty.
Guns are being confiscated under Red Flag but only on an individual basis. Mass seizures as in Venezuela are possible only if guns are already registered and there is huge resistance in blue states requiring such. Congress could go rogue & pass a national registration law but I doubt that and even if they did, citizens would mass respond, “Fine, now try to enforce it without searching every home in America”.
For some history, google the original gun control act of 1968. Sure, we hate having to buy through FFLs instead of direct mail, but the original bill called for national registration of guns AND Federal licensing of owners. Lyndon Johnson was seething with rage when those two measures were not in the final bill; you can feel the anger in his remarks when he signed it. I was angry too; there went my chance to acquire a genuine Walther PPK as it was now banned under new import criteria.
Back to my original question, it seems to me that for now, not being in the wrong place at the wrong time and removing political decals from one’s vehicle are the best ways to avoid danger from the Left. But sooner or later they will try to reach out and hurt someone.
Any ideas on what form that could take?
