There is no “big 3” anymore. Chrysler is now owned by Fiat.

I’m pushed toward bigger trucks because I will not own a vehicle without a frame.

I love how companies use JD Powers awards in their marketing to the simpletons out there.

JD Power is a joke ... initial quality my backside. You own the car/truck for a month and they want you to take the survey. And all the dealers tell you when you take delivery of the vehicle “if you can’t give 5 stars, don’t do the survey”.

Also ... towing 35,000+ with a 350/450/550 or 3500/4500/5500 ... that is insane. Unless you have a CDL don’t even think of towing anything over 10,000 lbs (that is trailer AND payload) unless you want to be put out of service on the side of the road or at a weigh station.

When you are towing upwards of 35K you had BETTER HAVE AIR BRAKES to stop that load and a truck that weights at least 1/2 that weight.

I’m sure you all have seen the F450/F550 towing a 8-wheel trailer with a large Bobcat and some other overweight equipment down the road and think to yourself “... man I want to stay away from that rig”.

You want to tow 35K+ do yourself a favor ... get a CDL-B with towing endorsement at the least, and a medium duty Pete/Kenworth/International/Freightliner/etc... for goodness sake!
