Is the victim a rival thug or an innocent?
Sounds like he was a rival.
“We have a person in custody,” a high-ranking police source said. “Motive is gang-related.”
Both victim and suspect rival gang members.
“The suspect, who has 12 prior arrests, was being questioned Monday at a Queens police precinct. The victim had seven priors.”
M-13 member is shooter. M-18 member is victim.
I retired from NY State's Dept. of Corrections 15 years ago. Those two gangs did not exist back then. Makes me glad I'm out of there with all these vicious thugs in the system now. I can truly say, although we had our fair share of thugs, they were nothing like these animals. It's only gotten worse as time has gone on. I feel sorry for the officers and prison staff who have to deal with them on a daily basis at work.
