I use a lot of hirtenberger surplus for 7.62, and I make my own for 6.5 creedmoor. Yesterday I made a load, I tested my velocities with five rounds then dialed for 1200 yards. First round hit. To be fair, the steel I was aiming at is 24x24”.
I then put subsequent rounds on that steel inside 9. I love that round heh.
That’s good shooting at 1200. I’m still sticking with 308 for now. What kind of glass were you using?
Thanks for the info. Ironically I picked up the 6.5 Creedmore over Christmas. After mounting my Leopold optics ran 9 rounds to dial in at 1500 rounds. Last 3 within an inch and a half. Liking that rifle too. .308 is what I used in military with 45 sidearm issue.
