The new language taking root is meant to instill this sense of urgency about what is happening in ways to which everyday citizens can relate - without directly blaming it on human activity.

So, it's no longer man's fault? It's natural? How do you expect to fight that? Sounds like it's time to adapt to change, not try to stop it.

King Canute tried to show these people the error of their ways centuries ago, but the same fallacious beliefs keep coming back around.
