However, there was an odd moment last night at the anniversary Banquet at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. It happened when I gave our celebrity guest, Former Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel, the Former Broward County Sheriff of the Year Award. As soon as he accepted the award, he held it aloft and shouted: "I HAVE GIVEN AMAZING LEADERSHIP!!! AMAZING! YOU GOT THAT! AMAZING LEADERSHIP!!!"
Well, he wouldn't sit down so we had to call security to take him back to his seat. Then this morning before 6 A.M., I got a phone call and a voice on the other end screamed: "I HAVE GIVEN AMAZING LEADERSHIP!!! AMAZING!
It was Scott Israel Again. I guess he is taken being a FORMER Sheriff quite hard. Ya think?
