We've been waiting 9 months to hear someone say this ever since we first learned that Natalia Veselnitskaya met with Glenn Simpson twice on the day of the ill-fated meeting.

We may not know precisely who gave her the visa, but we know someone did. And that someone was certainly a high level official in the Obama administration. Veselnitskaya was prohibited from entering the USA because of previous actions. Yet someone bypassed this order, and gave her the visa. That only could have come from high in the Obama inner circle.
Don Jr. fell for it. That’s really the biggest problem with the Trump team. They don’t play the game of politics well.
Prove that and the whole Trump scandal evaporates and the Clinton/FBI/deep state scandal explodes.
It wasn’t that Putin wanted Hillary oh, it’s that like the rest of the world, he thought she was inevitable. And that more than anything else is the reason he didn’t dare openly support Trump, or launch covert operations on his behalf.
It was pretty much a foregone conclusion everywhere that she would win. He realistically thought he was going to have her for 8 years to deal with, and was probably careful not to do anything that was going to make it worse for him after she won.
I've said from the start that Putin certainly would prefer his foremost rival nation to be led by a weak, dishonest and corrupt woman rather than a Man's Man who puts country first.

She had 2 different Visa’s. The first a probationary Visa signed by AG Lynch in early 2016. The second was issued about the time of the Trump Tower meeting. That was just a B-status non-immigrant visa.
