Or if Trump is impeached and convicted. Then Pence is impeached and convicted before he (Pence) can get a VP confirmed.
Such a scenario is theoretically possible. But with the Senate in GOP hands, no way will that happen.
The idea of getting rid of both Trump and Pence at the same time is interesting. Dims would have this motivation when RGB goes. I wouldn’t put it past them.
This is really getting ridiculous.
Appointment of a VP does not require Congressional or SC approval. It is an arbitrary act by the president and can be accomplished in minutes. It requires notice of the individual and a judge to swear the candidate into office.
It is conceivable this can be done and held in abeyance pending necessity.
