My post was sloppy, because he was really intending for the Roadrunner to smack head-on full speed into the rocks, thinking it was thru-way, but then the road or track became real all right, complete with the real traffic that Wile E. hadn’t considered.
Thus I inadvertantly skipped over the distinction because the result was that poor Wile E. was run over by the reality that he envisioned for the Roadrunner, except that he wasn’t a visionary.
