Does this look like any representation of the parlor of the McLean house that you have ever seen. It looks like the ceremony is being staged at the War Department in DC.
As I recall, Custer was at the Maclean mansion that day too. I don’t know wbout Meade, and I can’t positively ID the others.
And Grant and Lee were seated across from each other across a much smaller table.
