Yes. I am so distressed this a.m. I feel so hopeless about our nation now and feel that the subversion of our republic or democracy which has been going on since the 60s sex and drug revolution, is just about complete. The only way out of this is for our useless Congress to step up and stop this pathological madness. They are responsible for all of it because they refuse to do their job. I am asking my friends here on Freerepublic to do something for me today. Please, just call, write or email your Congressman/woman and ask him/her to simply watch the FOXNEW Tucker Carlson program from last night, Jan. 14, 2019. His presentation centers on the attempted coup of Donald Trump, and is the most logical presentation I have seen of how the Deep State operated from the beginning to get rid of Trump simply because they did not like him politically and personally. The presentation includes how the FBI operates to simply investigate someone they want to ruin and then by leaking that information to the public, which stops the person's life and work in it's tracks, essentially ruining them. The whole program addresses immigration and other issues as well. It is excellent and for any person who is really worried about who, what, where, when, how and why our nation is disintegrating in the face of what is most likely a set up coup of a duly elected President, it is a “must see.” I must warn that personal hate for the people destroying our very way of life for the sake of their own lust for political power is something to guard against. The only way I know of to control that in myself is to pray for our enemies and those who spitefully use us for nefarious gain. We are in a New Year with bad things being carried out by bad people in our Federal Government which hurts the little people but not the perps as we see them currently vacationing on the beach in Puerto Rico and other places. They are responsible for the government shut down because they do not care about this country for they are too rich to consider themselves servants of the people. That has to “come home to roost at some point.”Anyway, I must continue to live in my grief for this nation and it's "little people," whose vote no longer counts. If anyone has the courage to investigate where such a path takes us, I recommend reading about the French revolution. There is nothing new under the sun.
