The fact is these people were assured the U.S. would be forced to allow them to enter. So they walked many hundreds of miles. No?
Or are you suggesting illegals/terrorist only cross over in the populated border cities?

Lurkinanloomin is actually correct. It
was not uncommon to see 10/12 illegals
during the day, walking north in the
middle of nowhere, in southern New Mexico.
They would break into the drilling rigs
looking for food/water/shelter at night.
They cross anywhere along the border.
