State laws very. In Nevada, these signs have no legal standing. they could ask me to leave, then press trespassing charges if I don’t. That is all.

what I would like to see is places like this being required to show proactive security if they don’t allow self-protection. And be directly liable.

Same thing in Washington state. I just ignore the signs. Courthouses and bars and schools are gun-free by state law. Those I abide by, after some consideration. My kids are all out of school now, but I always debated whether to carry onto the school. (I didn’t)

I figured the odds of an attack the few times I was there didn’t warrant the risk of losing my gun rights forever. (Some fines and jail time too I am sure).
