LONDON — Four senior retired U.S. military officers on Tuesday blasted a legal ruling backing President Donald Trump's ban on transgender individuals serving in the armed forces as "wrong" ahead of a key decision from the country's top court on Friday.
The officers said a ruling last week by a Washington appeals court in favor of a ban on transgender recruits was misguided and backed an earlier decision that such a policy would violate their constitutional rights.
"The D.C. Court of Appeals made an error when it lifted one of the injunctions that protect transgender members of our military," said retired officers Lieutenant General Claudia Kennedy, Rear Admiral John Hutson, Major General Gale Pollock and Brigadier General Clara Adams-Ender.
"The need for an injunction protecting transgender people who serve their country remains precisely the same," they said in a joint statement obtained exclusively by the Thomson Reuters Foundation...

Umm... If they’re still taking the gov coin in retirement pay, aren’t they still subject to the gov’s rules on when and on what they can run their sumps?

Four, and out of how many? Many. Those four shouldn’t be publicized. No one should listen to them. Maybe anti-obscenity laws were a good thing after all.
Gale Pollock and Clara Hyphenated-Last-Name were both chiefs of the Army Nurse Corps at different times, one each white & black to satisfy the diversity requirements of this anti-Trump blast.
Claudia Kennedy writes books about herself and about the feminization of the military, with titles containing buzzwords such as "Sisterhood," and was in the news in the 90s for torpedoing the promotion of a superior by accusing him of sexual harassment that had happened 3 years before his planned promotion was announced. She did tours of Germany and S Korea in the 70s, before specializing in cryptology. For decades she's been very active in Democratic politics, supporting everyone from Gore to Kerry to Obama to Hillary. She lambasted GWB while he was still running for Prez in 2000, for his support of continuing the DADT policy.
The sole man - John Hutson - a former JAG member and now at some NH law school, has a wiki that sounds like a white version of Al Sharpton. He was a featured speaker at the Dem National Conventions from 2008 to 2016. And he's always making public "calls for" some Republican to do something. Eg, from 2004 onward he published "Open Letters" against GWB for alleged prisoner abuse in Iraq & Afghan. In 2006 he "called on" Scalia to recuse himself from some decision due to bias. He testified against GWB appointees on multiple occasions, has testified in Congress countless times against GOP and/or GWB policies, and much much more. Curiously, his anti-administration activism completely disappeared during the 8 years of Obama. Imagine that! In short, for many years he's been the Democrat's Go-To-Guy when they need someone at a press conference dressed in a general's uniform.
These retired military “chiefs” are symptomatic of liberals who view the military as a social experiment instead of people who’s job it is to break things and kill people. While they are tasked with guarding the nation’s walls the libs plot how they can next use the military as an example of liberal doctrine. And when there are no major repercussions from the troops they declare victory and pat themselves on the back never understanding that the military takes orders from civilians no matter how ridiculous because that is their code of honor. And all the while these experiments impact our capabilities as accommodations must be made to our manning document to ensure qualified people are in place. From what I’ve read medical costs are enormous and readiness levels suffer as transgender use the military to undergo sexual reassignment then proceed out after one term.
