Listen, I don’t pimp conspiracy theories, but how many people do you know even got the swine flu, let alone died from it.

I just realized after typing that, that I’m in danger of opening a sore would if you do know someone, but I’m wagering you don’t.
I don’t.

Unless she had an assignment in Sichuan recently...

Swine flu combined with meningitis ,all occurring overnight ,does seems outside the norm.

I don’t know anyone that’s been hit by lightning, but I know that people get hit by lightning.

And yes, I know someone who had the Swine Flu.

That was back in high school. They were in a coma for weeks, and never were the same physically or cognitively.

Our neighbor’s 19 yr old daughter was rendered quadriplegic by the flu/meningitis combination as a college freshman.

According to the CDC, infants, adolescents, and young adults have the highest rates of meningococcal disease and the death rate is 10-15% even with antibiotic treatment.

Many colleges and summer camps require vaccination for it. And yes, after what happened to our neighbor’s daughter, damn straight my kids were vaccinated for before going to college.
