The media and the left stirs up the hatred with their disinformation. A perfect example.... last weekend my husband and I boarded a boat in Fort Myers heading to Key West. We sat at a booth which seats six. The first person to ask if he could join us at our table was a newly retired white guy with a red MAGA hat who was fulfilling one of his bucket list items before heading out to homestead in Arizona. We of course were glad to welcome him to join us on the four hour ride. 10 minutes later a young interracial couple needed to find two seats together and also sat with us. It was a pair of college kids on break. A white girl with a black guy with a crazy man bun hair do. Easy to stereo type the MAGA guy and the college couple. Let me tell you this couple and the MAGA guy hit it off incredibly well. They were swapping travel stories and sharing pictures. We all ended up playing cards and had a wonderful trip. You can tell the couple came from good families. You really can’t judge a book by its cover. The experience made me even angrier at the media for the way they portray conservatives. At the same time I learned that not all millenial college kids fit in the liberal Looney box.

Yes, you can tell a book (a person) by it’s cover (ideological affinity.)

No, it’s not enlightened to give leftists the benefit of the doubt based on an anecdote.

Why the eagerness to declare leftists as anything other than the font of all the world’s evil?
