It was 3 years ago this Dec 26 that my husband’s cousin’s 25-year-old healthy daughter died from the flu (she had no flu shot). Like the Spanish flu, the H1N1 strain affects the young and healthy the most. She had been in the hospital with it for 2 days. She seemed to be recovering and they released her. 36 hours later she took a turn for the worse and died.

I think the question is perhaps WHY Bre was killed. She published a negative article about Comey 10 days before her death:

Comey: The FBI’s Garbage Reputation Is Everybody’s Fault But Mine

Sorry to hear about this girl’s death. You are correct that the H1N1 Flu is a variant of the 1918 Spanish Flu that attacks mostly young people, especially the prime ages of 24-26.

“Like the Spanish flu, the H1N1 strain affects the young and healthy the most.”

That’s correct. H1N1 leverages their strong immune systems against them and kills them with a “cytokine storm”. Or it makes them highly vulnerable to pneumonia as the killer.

And actually H1N1 is the same variant as the 1918 Spanish flu.

The highest mortality rate among adults contracting H1N1 is the 25-26 yr old cohort. 80 per 10,000 as reported in a National Institute of Health study of the 1918 flu.

A shame about your husband’s young cousin.
