There are complications, you need a select fire mechanism to be able to choose between single shot, 3 shot burst and full auto.
The trigger, recoil and ejection springs need to be modified. The magazine latch needs to be tuned.
It takes a competent full auto armorer to get it right or you just spend your time clearing jams.
