I agree, a publicity stunt. But think of all the impressionable young people who will latch on to this thinking they want the “power” because they think they can “control” it.
I don’t think it’s ‘tabloid garbage’. More an analysis of a deeply concerning cultural trend that should not be ignored, particularly since it involves young people.
Not a Gaga fan, but I certainly am sorry for anyone suffering from Fibromyalgia. Prayers would be a lot more helpful than indulging in a lot of negativity.
The heavy metal and death metal bands really exploded in the 1980s, full of Satanic messaging. Black Sabbath was a leader in this arena.
Bands used satanic images on album covers, in their lyrics, and via a technique known as “backmasking”; ie, recording satanic rubbish backwards.
There are many who believe that subliminal pro satan crap was inserted to be absorbed subliminally.
This topic is close to my heart. In the 1980s, I was studying for my MS and working full time with severely emotionally disturbed children and adolescents.
Many, many of these children were consumed by this garbage. Now, factor in their lack of emotional stability, and, very often, history of drug use. Imagine what their futures were looking like.
The problem is .... good people also suffer from fibromyalga. Believing in God/Christ does not free you from earthly suffering. But it does ease your mental stress and inner spiritual self while bringing salvation to your soul.
After reading this thread, I could not stop thinking about Goethe’s “Mefistofole”. It’s the story of Faust selling his soul to the devil. We saw it as an opera.
Take a look at the performer playing the devil and tell me if he looks like a certain former president.
Considering where we are, that could have been intentional. Very talented young man, he did a great job. Perfect casting.

Pretty much just her surgically-implanted hip(?) was about all that survived. It seems that’s how they identified the remains as it had a serial number.

But at 30-31 seconds it’s (this other thing - similar but distinct) fully visible for less than a second and then partially-visible as it passes out of frame to the right as the camera pans left. As for Lady Gaga...the blood of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Ghost can break any Satanic hold over her...prayer and fasting might have to be involved but not always according to the stories in the gospels. A confession of faith, repentance, a belief on Christ’s resurrection, a baptism of the Holy Spirit and following Christ’s command of obedience of water baptism. Might there be after effects to overcome...sometimes yes and sometimes no...experiences vary!

Satanic contracts?....yeah the Devil has some power...but he has no real authority or power to destroy any soul...only God does and he can break any false Satanic contracts! Satan is destined for the Lake of Fire himself so to what benefit does anyone have in making a so called “contract” with him! Temporary benefits on Earth for eternal damnation...not a good bargain. The good news for Gaga is that she can be free of the deception!

I didn’t know that, which might have, by the “skin of his teeth”, caused his soul to be saved...but I guess we won’t know that until the Day of Resurrection.
I did hear about the “scary shrieky” death he died.
There was one “Near Death” experience I read about who literally was on the verge of Hell. He had not been raised well and was a “bad sort”...but he said he cried out, praying some Child’s prayer he had learned in a Vacation Bible school or a Sunday school he went to as a child. Hell and the demons vanished, he was surrounded by light. and then he was returned to life. He became a Christians ans serves as a minister now.
I mention it because such a “ written confession by Voltaire” might have saved his soul.
Christ loves to save people...so we need to be cautious about being certain that such and such or so and so may truly be in Hell. We know that people will go there...yet Christ will save whom he will with just the least bit of Faith and contriteness of spirit...even at the edge of Hell! The Great White Throne Judgment is the one to be feared most...that’s when the Lamb’s Book of Life is opened to reveal the names written there-in!
Yes, the Bible is quite clear that Satan is the (temporary) “god of this world”. He indeed did offer all of that to Jesus (as someone else noted). But since it will not be under his authority forever, it is in fact a lie. Temporary gain.

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
