My BD is on Dec. 19....I have spent my whole life with the “Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday” gifting. I think it should be a law that anyone born within two weeks of Christmas gets to choose another day (say mid June or July) to celebrate their birthday.

Merry Christmas to all!!

You say it’s your birthday?

It’s my birthday too, yeah!

Ah, the memories of birthdays on Christmas Eve; “Happy Birthday Susie, pick a present from under the tree.”’ Birthday party? Who’d be around?”, and “Birthday cake? We’ve go too much cooking and baking going on as it is!”
Ah, to be a Spring or Summer baby!

My mother did 1/2 year birthday parties.

And I swore I would never have kids near Christmas. My oldest was born on Dec 16 and number two on Jan 13. So much for my plans

Consider my plight. My birthday is September 11. It went from being a happy day to one were everyone else is depressed. Bah.
